In this lecture we are learning AWS Introduction and creating AWS Free Tier Account:
AWS Free Tier Account: Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the cloud offering by Amazon to serve you Infrastructure as Cloud Service. You can create a Free AWS account and Login to AWS console to start creating AWS Cloud resources. Click the LINK to know the steps to create the AWS Free Tier Account.
AWS Global Infrastructure: The AWS Global Cloud infrastructure is the backbone network of global AWS data centers and other platforms that Amazon uses to deliver application workloads and AWS services.
Below are the major components that you must know that belongs to AWS Global Infrastructure.
Regions: AWS regions are geographical physical locations around the world where ever the amazon datacenters available.
Availability Zones (AZ): Availability zones are group of one or more discrete data centres the provides applications and services in AWS regions.
Each AZ contains redundant connectivity, power, and networking capabilities, and individual AZs are physically isolated from each other by a meaningful distance but connected through high bandwidth fiber cables.
